Mission Statement

To operate and maintain the West Side Cemetery grounds.  Provide a place that is respectful of the passing of life as well as its continuation, perpetuate a peaceful environment in which persons may grieve, meditate and be renewed.  Provide honorable and dignified burial ground in which people have their final resting place.

History

For almost 200 years the graves on the Guilford Green were grazed upon by pasturing animals.   The grave markers were moved to newly established cemeteries.  Incorporated in 1818 in Guilford, this cemetery is now known as West Side Cemetery.
